Tanmoy is a postdoctoral scholar in the Department of Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics. His research interests are in elucidating the underlying mechanisms of Streptococcal resistance to antimicrobial peptides and proteins (AMPs). Tanmoy uses Transposon Sequencing & other biochemical and cellular methods to investigate the above question.

When Tanmoy is not running experiments in the lab, he can be found in the kitchen experimenting or listening to music of different genres. Tanmoy is an Ardent Foodie in the making. He loves all things drums and percussion.
