Namrata is a postdoctoral scholar in the College of Pharmacy. She did her PhD from Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh, India in the department of Medical Parasitology. Prior to coming to the UK, USA she has 3 years of postdoc experience from India as she had received two independent postdoc fellowships from the Indian govt. Namrata has over 12 years of experience in the field of parasitology (Plasmodium, Leishmania, and Toxoplasma) and mice models. She is now working on cancer research specifically focusing on osteosarcoma (bone cancer). She is skilled in immunohistochemistry, real-time PCR, cell culture, and mice model studies. Namrata loves to travel, so far she has traveled to 8 countries, she likes to listen to music, watch animated movies (Studio Ghibli production) and spend time with her husband and son.
