Mubashir Hussain joined the Biomedical Optics Lab as a postdoctoral scholar in 2025. His research focuses on developing advanced approaches in microfluidics, biomedical instrumentation, machine learning, and optical spectroscopy. Currently, he is working on non-invasive monitoring of cerebral blood flow (CBF) to improve point-of-care testing and optimize the management of neurological conditions. In his non-lab life, he enjoys playing badminton and chess, as well as exploring new places and cuisines.
