Justin Cammarota is a Postdoctoral Scholar in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Kentucky. His research focuses on looking for signs of Beyond the Standard Model physics at the upcoming Electron Ion Collider. He uses a joint Quantum Chromodynamics and Quantum Electrodynamics factorization scheme to study exotic particle emission in Deep Inelastic Scattering, currently using a scalar-lepton coupling model as the proof-of-principle. He earned his Ph.D. in Theoretical Nuclear Physics from William & Mary in August of 2025, collaborating with the theory department at the Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility. In his free time, he enjoys board games, video games, watching TV, and reading.
