The Society of Postdoctoral Scholars is organizing an interactive workshop designed to address the mental health needs of Postdocs - offering evidence-based strategies to reduce stress, prevent burnout, and build emotional resilience. The session will include discussion about professional and personal transitions, phase of life needs, overworking and balance, meaning making, community building, wellbeing behaviors, moving beyond narratives of imposter syndrome and self-care.

Nathaniel Hopkins, Ph.D.

Dr. Hopkins is a Counseling Center Psychologist and currently Acting Associate Director in the UK Counseling Center. He has over 20 years of experience as a therapist and administrator at multiple universities. His work focuses on policy development, process improvement, technology, and organizational dynamics. He brings clinical expertise in grief and loss, crisis response, athletic and other performance enhancement, high achievers, and neurodiversity.
